Finding local food

Keeping track of the many farms, farmers markets, community supported agriculture (CSA) projects, community gardens, retailers, and restaurants in our local food system is a daunting proposition.  Instead of maintaining our own list, we encourage you to find locally grown food using these resources:

Local Harvest A national listing of farms who direct market their foods.

Idaho Preferred Farmers who are members of Idaho Preferred, a program administered by the Idaho Department of Agriculture.

Idaho’s Bounty Farmers who are members of Idaho’s Bounty, an on-line food cooperative.

Food Hub A regional on-line buyers and farmers network.   FoodHub is an online directory and marketplace that helps wholesale food buyers and sellers connect and do business.
